Hey there! So, I recently hit up the KFC at Discovery Shopping Mall in Kuta, Bali, and I gotta say, it was a pretty chill experience. The food scored a solid 4.2 out of 5, which is awesome, but the service and atmosphere were just okay, both sitting at 3.0. I mean, it’s KFC, so you kinda know what you’re getting into, right?

For lunch, I ordered a Super Besar New 1, some large French fries, and the Kombo Colonel Burger. Everything was tasty! I did notice some folks mentioning that the food packaging could be a bit sturdier. Like, maybe they could use fabric bags like McDonald’s does for their delivery? It would be way better than those flimsy paper bags that can easily tear, especially when you’re carrying cold drinks. And since Bali has banned plastic bags, it would be cool to have some reusable options for shoppers too.

Now, I did hear some mixed reviews from other visitors. One person said, “The food was good, but the service was lacking. We had to wait a long time, and all we could order was spicy chicken, which we both don’t like.” So, if you’re picky about your chicken, you might wanna keep that in mind.

Another visitor shared their experience, saying, “This is my second time here, and the staff member was very unfriendly when I tried to exchange a voucher. He said it couldn’t be redeemed that day, even though I had done it before.” Yikes! Customer service can really make or break a place, right?

But let’s talk about the star of the show: the Winger bucket! One reviewer raved, “The winger bucket is the best fried chicken I’ve tasted. The chicken is like wicked wings but better. The coating is crispy and crunchy, but the meat is juicy.” Sounds like a must-try!

Thank you! Just a little tip: maybe they could consider using sturdier paper bags or even fabric shopping bags like McDonald’s does. It would be way better than those flimsy paper bags that can easily tear, especially when you’re carrying cold drinks. Plus, in Bali, plastic bags are a no-go, so fabric bags would be a hit!

Other diners had some mixed feelings too. One person said, “Great food, tasted as expected, same as KFC back home. Quick service. Clean and tidy.” But then there was a comment about the tables being greasy, which I totally get. Someone mentioned, “I left my paper bag on it and it was stuck immediately as it’s not cleaned.” Yikes! Cleanliness is key, folks!

All in all, I had a good time at KFC Discovery Shopping Mall Kuta. If I find myself back in Bali, I’d definitely consider stopping by again for that crispy chicken goodness!
