Hey foodies! If you’re in Bali and craving some legit Chinese food, you gotta check out Xiao Chu – Little Kitchen on Jl. Sunset Road. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem! I recently dined there and let me tell you, it was a total win. The food? A solid 5.0/5.0! The service? Yup, another 5.0/5.0! The atmosphere is chill too, sitting at a comfy 4.7/5.0.

So, I ordered a few dishes like Nasi Cap Cai Ayam, Buncis Szechuan, and Nasi Goreng Yang Chouw. Everything was super tasty! One reviewer said, “I ordered 3 dishes. The Nasi Capcay Ayam (the fried rice was super smoky! SO GOOD! The chicken capcay was delicious). The Kolobak (Sweet Sour Pork) was amazing, I asked for the sauce on the side, and it had this sweet and sour pineapple flavor, but you couldn’t even see the pineapple. And the Mopu Tahu was, as usual, DELICIOUS! Plus, I got an extra Liang Teh cold drink. Thanks a lot! Sorry for ordering 30 minutes before closing on GoFood! Keep thriving!”

Another customer mentioned, “I ordered Sapo Tahu & Buncis Szechuan. The packing was safe. The taste was great, the packing was clean & safe, and there was a lot of filling for these two dishes (just like dine-in). The Buncis Szechuan was mild, not spicy. I ordered GoFood for dinner even though I had just dined in earlier that day with Buncis Salted Egg, Ayam Goreng Cabe Garam, Ayam Goreng Saos Hong Kong & Mapo Tahu, which were all delicious! Keep up the great work, Koko & staff! Maintain that quality!”

And let’s not forget this gem of a review: “Xiao Chu, THANK YOU for giving me a glimmer of hope. I am a desperate millennial dealing with impossible aunties. They scrutinize every grain of rice and every drop of sauce. There will always be a mistake, and they will never be satisfied. But when they were impressed that you cleaned the veins of your prawn, I almost cried. You conquered them! All the dishes we had were impressive. Crispy deep-fried fish with balanced sauce, fragrant stir-fried cai miaw, perfectly deep-fried prawn with just the right amount of salted egg sauce intensity. The fried seafood rice noodle hit the right spot of oiliness. Your polite, sincere, and precise staff remained unfazed with my aunts’ requests and customization. Thumbs up for the kitchen too, for the swift serving time. We also loved the charming interior. I was tired, abused, and terrified by these aunties, but you showed me there is still hope!”

Honestly, this place is one of the best! Highly recommended! Trust me, every dish is delicious, authentic Chinese food, and the prices are super reasonable. The service is friendly and fast. I spent around Rp100,000 for two dishes and a drink, which is totally worth it! If you’re a Chinese food lover, Xiao Chu is a must-visit!

So yeah, I’ll definitely be back to Xiao Chu whenever I’m in Bali. Can’t wait to try more of their amazing dishes!

If you’re cruising around Bali and find yourself near Jl. Sunset Road, you absolutely have to check out Xiao Chu – Little Kitchen. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem! The food here is off the charts, scoring a perfect 5.0/5.0 from visitors. I mean, who doesn’t love a place that nails it on the food front?

First off, let’s talk about the vibe. The atmosphere gets a solid 4.7/5.0, which is pretty good for a cozy little spot like this. It’s not overly fancy, but it’s got that chill, welcoming feel that makes you want to settle in and enjoy your meal. Plus, the service? Top-notch! They’ve got a 5.0/5.0 rating for service, and you can totally see why. The staff is friendly and quick, making sure you’re taken care of without being overbearing.

Now, onto the food! You’ve got to try their Nasi Cap Cai Ayam – the fried rice is super smoky and delicious! And don’t skip the Buncis Szechuan; it’s packed with flavor. The Nasi Goreng Yang Chouw is another must-try, and trust me, everything is just so good! One customer even said, “The food is amazing. Can’t say much more than that.” And I totally get it! They also raved about the sweet and sour pork, which has this awesome pineapple flavor that just hits the spot.

Another highlight is the Mopu Tahu, which is always a hit. One visitor mentioned, “Simple dishes but taste extraordinary, that is the skill of the chef!” And honestly, that sums it up perfectly. The chef really knows how to bring out the best in every dish.

Prices are pretty reasonable too! For dinner, you’re looking at around Rp75,000-100,000 per person, and for lunch, it’s even cheaper at Rp50,000-75,000. You can’t beat that for the quality you’re getting. Just a heads up, there’s a 10% tax on all orders, but it’s still a steal!
