Warung Madu Sedana, Jl Tukad Buaji
Tasya
Located in the bustling area of Jl. Tukad Buaji No. 32 in Sesetan, Denpasar Selatan, Warung Madu Sedana offers a casual dining experience that aims to please both locals and tourists alike. The restaurant’s signature dishes include Nasi Goreng Babi (Pork Fried Rice), Nasi Goreng Babi + Telor Dadar (Pork Fried Rice with Fried Egg), and Nasi Putih (White Rice). However, the overall dining experience seems to be a mixed bag based on customer reviews.
While some patrons have described their experience as “not bad,” “nice,” and “good,” the ratings tell a different story. The atmosphere received a score of 2.5 out of 5, indicating that while it may be decent, it lacks the charm that could elevate a dining experience. The food itself garnered a slightly lower score of 2.3, suggesting that the culinary offerings may not fully meet the expectations of discerning food lovers. Service, rated at 2.7, implies that while the staff may be friendly, there is room for improvement in efficiency and attentiveness.
For those looking for a romantic setting, some guests have noted that the ambiance can be “nice and romantic,” making it a potential spot for a casual date night. However, the restaurant’s focus on takeout service may detract from the overall dining experience for those who prefer to dine in.
In terms of pricing, meals range from Rp50,000 to Rp75,000 per person, which is reasonable for the area. For a lighter option, the vegetarian salad from Alam Sambangan is available for Rp1-25,000, catering to those looking for healthier choices.
In conclusion, while Warung Madu Sedana may not be the top culinary destination in Denpasar, it offers a variety of dishes at an affordable price. If you’re in the area and craving some pork fried rice, it might be worth a visit, but don’t expect a fine dining experience.
Bela
Hey there! So, I recently checked out this diner called Warung Madu Sedana located at Jl. Tukad Buaji No. 32 in Sesetan, Denpasar Selatan. I gotta say, it was a mixed bag experience!
The atmosphere? Well, it’s sitting at a solid 2.5 out of 5. It’s not exactly a vibe that’ll blow your mind, but it’s chill enough for a casual meal. Now, let’s talk food. I tried a few dishes like Nasi Goreng Babi, Nasi Goreng Babi + Telor Dadar, and Nasi Putih. Honestly, all the food was pretty tasty! One reviewer even said, “It’s really delicious!!! I can’t say anything else. When it comes to pork… well, it’s always good, yay!” But then again, someone else mentioned that they ordered spicy but it wasn’t spicy at all, which was a bit of a letdown.
As for the service, it’s sitting at 2.7 out of 5. I mean, it’s not the worst, but there’s definitely room for improvement. I saw some reviews saying things like, “It’s fun and the yard is clean,” which is nice to hear. But then there was this one guy who was disappointed because his fried rice was all stuck together, calling it “gempel” in Balinese, and felt it wasn’t worth the 13k price tag. Ouch!
Oh, and I also ordered a Fuyunghay, but they gave me Capcay instead, and I had to wait forever for it. Not cool! But hey, some people still thought it was good overall.
For the price, it’s pretty reasonable, around Rp50,000-75,000 per person, and they do have some vegetarian options like Salad Alam Sambangan for Rp1-25,000. If you’re looking for a recommended dish, I’d say go for the Paket Ayam Geprek Nasi Tahu & Es Teh.
All in all, I’d say I’d come back to Warung Madu Sedana if I find myself in Bali again. It’s not perfect, but it’s got its charm and some good eats!
