If you’re looking for a chill spot to grab a bite in Bali, you gotta check out Village Cafe in Pererenan. Seriously, this place is a gem! The food is rated 4.5 out of 5, and I totally get why. Everything I tried was super fresh and packed with flavor. The Beetroot Brownie? Oh man, it’s a must-try! People have raved about it, saying it’s “great brownies, big portion and super tasty.” And let’s not forget the Pesto Chicken and Acai Bowl – all of them are delicious!
The vibe here is just perfect. With a 5.0 rating for atmosphere, it’s cozy and peaceful, especially on a Sunday afternoon. You can eat, read, or just chill with a drink. One visitor mentioned, “It is a cozy place to eat, read, work or just rest while having something to drink or eat.” Plus, the staff is super friendly and helpful, making you feel right at home. One guest even said they had the best hot chocolate they’ve ever had in Bali here!
And if you’re bringing the kiddos along, this place is super family-friendly. There’s a lovely courtyard with a slide and a mud kitchen for the little ones to play. One parent shared, “A great kid-friendly space but also a lovely place to relax/work.” They also have an AC room for those hot Bali days, which is a lifesaver!
Another cool thing is that they use a lot of organic ingredients, which is great for health-conscious folks. One customer said, “The food is super wholesome, clean and healthy.” Their Kitchari and matcha are also highly recommended! And if you’re into skincare, they have an organic store with all sorts of products.
Overall, Village Cafe is definitely a spot I’d come back to if I’m in Bali again. The combination of delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and friendly service makes it a top choice for anyone looking to enjoy a meal in this beautiful island. Can’t wait to visit again!

What an amazing place! As soon as we stepped into Village Cafe in Pererenan, Tumbak Bayuh, I felt a wave of nostalgia wash over me. The decor is a beautiful blend of rustic charm and vibrant colors, reminiscent of childhood memories spent in my mother’s kitchen. It’s a place that feels like home, where every corner tells a story, and every dish evokes warmth and comfort. We visited with our kids, and they were instantly captivated by the delightful playground. Watching them laugh and play while we savored our meals was a joy that filled my heart.
The food here is nothing short of extraordinary. It’s wholesome, clean, and bursting with flavor. My personal favorite is the Kitchari, a dish that not only nourishes the body but also warms the soul. The matcha is the best I’ve ever had—strong and of exceptional quality. Each bite of the feta and spinach puff was a revelation, and the sunshine soup was like a hug in a bowl. The beetroot brownie? Simply divine! It’s clear that they prioritize organic ingredients, which is a blessing for our little ones.
Every morning, I find myself drawn to this lovely space, where I can enjoy breakfast with my one-year-old. The Kids platter with scrambled eggs and sourdough, made with real butter, is a hit! The staff is incredibly friendly, and there’s even a caretaker who plays with the kids while I sip my coffee in peace. It’s a perfect blend of relaxation and family fun.
As I sit here, my heart sings with joy. This place is a treasure, a sanctuary where families can come together, share laughter, and create lasting memories. If I had a cafe of my own, it would be just like this—filled with love, warmth, and the most delicious food. Village Cafe has truly touched my heart, and I can’t recommend it enough. Thank you for creating such an incredible family-friendly spot!
