Located in the vibrant area of Canggu, Bali, Vietnam Bistro by Mama Hanh is a delightful culinary gem that offers an authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine. Nestled on Jl. Batu Mejan 33, this restaurant has quickly become a favorite among locals and tourists alike, thanks to its inviting atmosphere and delectable dishes.

The menu features a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes, but the standout items include Goi Cuon (Fresh Spring Rolls), Pho (Vietnamese Noodle Soup), and Banh Mi (Vietnamese Baguette). One visitor remarked, “We were hungry after the spa and this restaurant was right across the street; hence we went there for finger food. Rice roll with pork was very good; I like that the seasoning was pretty light, and you can always add more. We ordered fried squid, and it was impressive because it’s not too dry but still crispy.”

Another guest praised the restaurant’s offerings, stating, “Much tastier than it looks! Looks similar but totally different type of taste. A shop that serves true Vietnamese dishes with lots of choices! And also good vibes! Value for money.”

The ambiance of Vietnam Bistro is both pleasant and clean, with air conditioning that adds to the comfort of dining. One reviewer noted, “The staff was kind in a polite manner. The food was delicious and beautiful. Especially, Original Crispy Squid was really really delicious. It’s fantastic to dip it in chili sauce and mayonnaise. I will definitely visit this place again.” This sentiment was echoed by another patron who shared, “After that, we visited here a few more times, and yesterday we had Vietnamese pho and Vietnamese light iced coffee. This was the best Vietnamese pho we’ve ever had. We even didn’t miss the last drop and ate it all!”

For those seeking the ultimate pho experience, one enthusiastic diner declared, “The best pho I have ever had. From the moment you arrive outside, the service and staff are amazing, greeting you as you come in and ensuring you are well taken care of throughout your meal. The food is amazing, only 15 for a starter, 2 huge mains, and 2 drinks. Such good value. The most flavorful pho I have ever had and such a large bowl! The restaurant is very clean, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. My favorite place I have eaten in Canggu!”

With a perfect score of 5.0 for food, service, and atmosphere, Vietnam Bistro by Mama Hanh is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in authentic Vietnamese flavors while enjoying a warm and welcoming dining experience. Prices are reasonable, ranging from Rp25,000-50,000 for lighter meals and Rp75,000-100,000 for a more substantial lunch or dinner. Don’t miss out on their Original Crispy Squid and, of course, the unforgettable pho!

If you’re in Canggu and craving some authentic Vietnamese food, you absolutely have to check out Vietnam Bistro by Mama Hanh. Located right on Jl. Batu Mejan 33, this spot is a hidden gem that serves up some seriously delicious dishes!

After a relaxing spa day, we stumbled upon this place and decided to pop in for some finger food. We ordered the Goi Cuon (Fresh Spring Rolls) with pork, and let me tell you, it was fantastic! The seasoning was light, which I loved because it allowed us to add more if we wanted. We also tried the fried squid, and wow, it was impressive! Crispy on the outside but not too dry—just perfect!

One thing I noticed is that the food is much tastier than it looks! It might seem similar to other Vietnamese dishes, but the flavors are totally unique. This place really serves true Vietnamese cuisine with a ton of options. Plus, the vibes are just right—good music and a chill atmosphere!

Now, I have to mention that while the food was on point, I wasn’t a fan of their coffee. I tried the Vietnamese light coffee and the coconut coffee, but both had a weird aftertaste and were a bit too sweet for my liking. But hey, you can’t win them all!

As for the portions, they are HUGE! I almost ordered both Pho and Goi Cuon, but since it was my first time, I just went with the Pho. Good thing I did because it was massive! Definitely recommended if you’re looking for a filling meal. I saw a lot of people coming in during my visit, which is always a good sign. The staff were super nice and helpful, and the place has both indoor and outdoor seating options.

Overall, if you’re in the area, make sure to swing by Vietnam Bistro by Mama Hanh. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is great, and you might just find yourself coming back for more!
