Soto Surabaya Cak Adi Kreneng, Denpasar

If you’re ever in Bali and craving some delicious Indonesian food, you gotta check out Depot Soto Surabaya Cak Adi on Jl. Lely No. 1D in Denpasar. Seriously, this place is a gem! The food gets a solid 5.0 out of 5.0, and I can totally see why. Everything I tried was just spot on!
First off, their Soto Ayam is a must-try. It’s packed with flavor and just hits the spot. Pair it with some Nasi Putih, and you’re in for a treat. I also had the Tahu Campur Biasa, and let me tell you, it’s one of the best I’ve had in Denpasar. The reviews say it all: “The tofu and fried rice are super delicious!! For me, this place has the best tofu mix in all of Denpasar.” Can’t argue with that!
The service here is top-notch too, also scoring a perfect 5.0. The staff is super friendly and quick, making sure you get your food without a long wait. One customer mentioned, “The service is fast, friendly, and the prices are affordable.” Plus, there’s plenty of parking available, which is a huge plus in busy Bali.
Now, the atmosphere is a bit more chill, sitting at a 3.0, but honestly, who cares when the food is this good? It’s all about the flavors, right? Just grab your meal and enjoy it wherever you can find a spot. Some folks have pointed out that the place could use a little more ambiance, but hey, it’s all about the food!
One thing to note is that while the food is consistently praised, there have been a few hiccups with orders. A customer mentioned, “I asked for soy sauce and got peanut sauce instead.” But honestly, with how good everything tastes, I think they can be forgiven for a little mix-up here and there.
Overall, if you’re looking for a place that serves up some amazing Indonesian dishes at reasonable prices (around Rp1-25,000 per person), Depot Soto Surabaya Cak Adi is the spot to hit. I can’t wait to come back here next time I’m in Bali! You won’t regret it!

Hey there! So, I recently checked out Depot Soto Surabaya Cak Adi in Denpasar, Bali, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! First off, the food gets a solid 5.0/5.0, and the service? Yep, another 5.0/5.0! The atmosphere, though, is a bit chill at 3.0/5.0, but honestly, it’s all about the food, right?
I decided to go for a few dishes: Soto Ayam, Nasi Putih, and Tahu Campur Biasa. Everything was delicious! Seriously, the Soto Ayam was packed with flavor, and the Nasi Putih was the perfect sidekick. The Tahu Campur was also a hit, but I did notice some feedback from other customers that I can totally relate to. One person mentioned, “Please pay more attention… when packing, it’s better to separate the broth and the toppings instead of mixing them all together… I bought two packs and everything was mixed… it’s hard to eat two packs at once.”
Another review said, “The Tahu Campur didn’t have any crackers, which is a must for Tahu Campur. The broth was salty and I ended up with just the leftover broth at the bottom of the pot… super disappointing.” And someone else was really frustrated, saying, “Hey, is this a serious business? My order was all wrong… if the food doesn’t come out right, what’s the point?”
But don’t let that scare you off! I also found some glowing reviews. One person said, “Delicious, not too salty. Soto Ayam for 10,000, plenty of rice for 5,000, and sweet tea for 4,000. Awesome!” Another mentioned, “I love their Tahu Campur, it’s super authentic Surabaya cuisine!” And someone else raved about the Nasi Goreng, saying it’s huge and cheap!
Overall, I had a great time at Depot Soto Surabaya Cak Adi. The food was definitely worth it, and I’d totally come back if I find myself in Bali again. Just maybe double-check your order before you leave! ??
