Hey there, fellow foodies! If you ever find yourself in Denpasar, you absolutely have to check out Roti Kukus Srikaya BaliLa on Jl. Teuku Umar. This place is a hidden gem for all the steamed bread lovers out there! With a food rating of 4.8/5.0, it’s no wonder people are raving about it.

So, I decided to give it a shot and ordered a few things: the Isi 3 Roti Kukus Mix, Es Coklat Balila, and the Isi 5 Roti Kukus Cheesy. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! Seriously, the cheesy one is still the best! I loved all the fillings. The bread is super soft and the fillings are just amazing. It was my first time trying this place, and wow, it totally lived up to the hype! I’d give it a 10-star rating if I could, but honestly, it deserves 100 stars! The bread is so soft, and the spread isn’t overly sweet, so even if you’re not a fan of sweet stuff, you can still enjoy it. It’s just so good!

Now, I did come across some mixed reviews from other visitors. One person said, “Nice Taste..!!!” which is totally true! Another mentioned they stumbled upon it on Instagram and decided to check it out despite hearing that the staff could be a bit grumpy. They arrived just before closing and were pleasantly surprised to find the place still open. They got the Srikaya and Butter Cream flavors, and while they enjoyed the bread and fillings, they thought the Es Coklat had a bit too much ice. But hey, the staff was friendly, so that’s a plus!

So, I decided to order a few things during my visit. I went for the Isi 3 Roti Kukus Mix, the Es Coklat Balila, and the Isi 5 Roti Kukus Cheesy. Everything was delicious! Seriously, the cheesy one was the best. I even heard someone say, “the chocolate drink is addictive, and the food is just right on the palate.” But, I did notice a couple of things: one review mentioned that the portions were a bit small and the taste was average, plus they had some trouble with the packaging during delivery. But hey, the bread was fresh, so that’s a win!

The atmosphere is pretty chill, sitting at a 3.5/5.0, but it’s all about the food here. The service is decent, rated at 4.0/5.0, and the prices are super friendly, ranging from Rp1-25,000 per person. Perfect for a casual dinner or a quick lunch takeout!

One of my favorite moments was when I was out riding with my husband one night, and he surprised me with a trip to this bakery. I was so excited, especially when I found out we were going for some delicious snacks! The soft bread and the amazing chocolate drink were just what I needed.

Another regular customer said, “I buy here almost every day; the bread is super soft and the prices are wallet-friendly. Approved!” And honestly, I can see why! The variety of steamed bread they offer is impressive, and it’s definitely worth trying out.
