Hey there! So, I recently checked out this Korean restaurant called OPPABUNSIK located at Jl. Batur Sari No. 43 in Denpasar Selatan, Bali. I gotta say, it was a pretty chill experience overall!
First off, the food gets a solid 3.7 out of 5. I ordered a few dishes like Chappagetti, Yangnyeom Chicken, and Oppa Tteokpokki, and honestly, they were all delicious! Someone mentioned that the flavor and portion sizes were good, but they thought the menu name should be changed. Instead of calling it Rapokki, it should be Ramyeon since Rapokki should have tteok too. If it’s just noodles, then it’s definitely Ramyeon. As a Korean, I can say this place is legit! I’m super happy I found my go-to spot in Sanur whenever I crave Korean food.
Now, let’s talk about the service. It also scored a 3.7 out of 5, but I did notice some mixed reviews. One customer mentioned that the staff had a really bad attitude. They had to ask for the menu, and the waiter was so lazy that he just waved the menu from his chair instead of getting up! When it came to taking orders, they had to speak loudly because he just stared and took orders from his seat. Not cool, right? They ordered Yangnyeom Chicken and said it was underwhelming, and the Bukdakbokkemmeon smelled and tasted like expired noodles. Ouch!
On a brighter note, another reviewer absolutely loved the tteokbokki here, saying it tasted even better than what they tried in Korea! Plus, it’s affordable authentic Korean street food, which is a huge plus.
The atmosphere got a 3.3 out of 5, so it’s not the fanciest place, but it’s cozy enough for a casual dinner. If you’re looking to dine in, expect to spend around Rp150,000-175,000 for dinner and Rp50,000-75,000 for lunch.
All in all, I’d definitely come back to OPPABUNSIK if I find myself in Bali again. It’s got its quirks, but the food is worth it!

So, let me take you on a little culinary adventure to a place called OPPABUNSIK, located at Jl. Batur Sari No. 43, Denpasar Selatan, Bali. Now, if you’re thinking of a fancy dining experience, you might want to keep scrolling because this place is more about the fun than the frills!
First off, let’s talk about the menu. I decided to channel my inner K-drama star and ordered the Chappagetti, Yangnyeom Chicken, and Oppa Tteokpokki. I mean, who wouldn’t want to eat something that sounds like it could be a character in a rom-com?
Now, I’ve heard some reviews from fellow food adventurers. One brave soul mentioned, “While passing through Sanur, I tried the kimbab and raboki at OPPABUNSIK. The kimbab was delicious, but the raboki didn’t have toppoki, just noodles and odeng. It was pretty spicy, and the place isn’t very spacious. Not ideal for families.” Well, if you’re looking for a cozy family dinner, you might want to consider a picnic instead! ??
But let’s get to the good stuff! The Yangnyeom Chicken is a fiery delight! One enthusiastic reviewer exclaimed, “So good!!! If you like it spicy, go for the fire Yangnyeom chicken. I absolutely loved the kimchi fried rice. Just the right portion for sharing!” I mean, who doesn’t love a dish that can set your taste buds on fire? ??
As for the atmosphere, let’s just say it’s more “let’s grab a quick bite” than “let’s celebrate a wedding anniversary.” The vibe is casual, and the service is decent, but don’t expect to be serenaded by a live band while you munch on your tteokpokki. It’s more like a friendly neighborhood hangout where the food is the star of the show!
Now, if you’re wondering about the prices, you can enjoy a meal for around Rp150,000-175,000 for dinner and Rp50,000-75,000 for lunch. Not too shabby for a taste of Korea in Bali!
In conclusion, if you’re in the mood for some spicy chicken and a side of laughter, OPPABUNSIK is the place to be. Just remember to bring your appetite and maybe a fire extinguisher for that Yangnyeom Chicken! ????
