Mie Bandung, Teuku Umar

If you’re ever in Bali and craving some delicious noodles, you absolutely have to check out Mie Bandung on Jl. Teuku Umar No. 60. Seriously, this place is a gem! The food gets a solid 5.0/5.0, and I can totally see why. The service is just as stellar, also scoring a perfect 5.0/5.0. The atmosphere is cozy, with a rating of 4.5/5.0, making it a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner.
I decided to order a few dishes like Pangsit Goreng, Mie Goreng, and Kwetiaw Goreng, and let me tell you, everything was super tasty! One reviewer mentioned, “It seems like I’ve ordered hundreds of times but just now got the chance to leave a review; the food is ALWAYS delicious. Thank you!” And I couldn’t agree more! Another said, “Always the best. The food is the most comfortable. Thank you!”
The smoky aroma of the dishes is on point, especially if you’re a garlic lover. Some folks think the flavors could use a bit more kick, but honestly, it just comes down to personal taste. Overall, it’s a solid choice! Plus, Mie Bandung is said to be just as good as other noodle spots, so it’s definitely recommended.
One customer raved, “This is very good noodles in Bali, I love the noodles, dumpling, meatballs, etc., all fantastic! The service from the staff is really kind and nice. I went there today, had one bowl of noodles with dumplings, and took three more bowls home. I go there regularly, and the taste never changes; it’s always good!”
Another review mentioned, “One of the best places to have noodles in Bali. Their noodles are somehow different than your usual noodles, which are firmer and not overly chewy. When paired with some soup, it tastes so good! Totally recommended for those who want something different.”
Now, the place isn’t huge, but it’s super popular among noodle lovers, especially for those Bandung noodles that hit the spot. The prices are reasonable, and I loved the free pickled cucumber they offer. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tricky if you’re driving a car, but it’s manageable for bikes.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Mie Bandung, and I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Bali!

If you’re ever in Bali and craving some delicious Chinese food, you gotta check out Mie Bandung on Jl. Teuku Umar No. 60 in Denpasar. Seriously, this place is a gem! The food gets a solid 5.0/5.0, and the service is just as stellar. The atmosphere is pretty chill too, with a score of 4.5/5.0. You can grab a meal here for around Rp25,000-50,000 for lunch and Rp50,000-75,000 for dinner, which is super affordable!
I ordered a bunch of dishes like Pangsit Goreng, Mie Goreng, and Kwetiaw Goreng, and let me tell you, everything was delicious! One reviewer mentioned, “The noodle broth was a bit cold, but the rest was okay and tasty.” They also said, “Legend, the taste hasn’t changed since back in the day!” And I totally agree! The fried rice is top-notch, and the fried noodles are just amazing—spicy and thanks for the extra sambal and chili!
Another noodle lover said, “I like their green noodle! They taste good and seem like a healthier option! We also ordered their pangsit goreng, which had a pretty generous portion.” And I can’t forget the barista who recommended this place—”Even better than other famous noodle shop stalls. The broth is balanced (not too MSG salty like most other places). The green noodle was chewy, and the portion was okay considering the affordable price.” Plus, the Kwetiauw was good too!
Honestly, if you’re looking for something different, this is one of the best places to have noodles in Bali. The noodles here are firmer and not overly chewy, and when paired with some soup, it’s just perfection! One of my favorite dishes here is definitely the fried rice and fried noodles. They have the right taste and the portions are just right. Highly recommended!
I’ll definitely be coming back to Mie Bandung whenever I’m in Bali. You don’t want to miss out on this place!
