If you’re ever in Kuta, Bali, you gotta check out Mie Ayam Jakarta! This Chinese noodle spot has been around since 1998 and is located at Jalan Patimura No 9. Seriously, the atmosphere is a solid 5.0/5.0, making it a chill place to hang out and enjoy some good food.

So, I decided to order a few dishes: Mie Ayam Jakarta, Nasi Goreng Gila, and Mie Goreng Seafood. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! But I did notice some mixed reviews from other diners. One person mentioned that they used to get pickled green chili with their meals, but now it seems like they don’t offer it anymore. They also said the Nasi Goreng was a bit bland and not as spicy as they requested, which is a bummer since they’ve been a regular for ages. But hey, at least they left feeling full!

Another review I came across said, “Real local food, good quality, clean, good prices. Always great service and food that is super clean and fresh. Friendly owner and workers – same people for the last 14 years, best food, one of our favorites!” Sounds like a solid endorsement, right?

However, not everyone was completely satisfied. One diner loved the Mie Goreng but found it too salty, saying, “I’m dying now. Next time order less salty.” Ouch! And another mentioned that their fried bihun had too much MSG, which made the soup taste bland. They were confused about why people were giving 5 stars.

Despite the mixed feedback, I think Mie Ayam Jakarta is worth a visit. It’s one of the few Indonesian spots we found after walking through a tourist trap area, and we were pretty satisfied with our meals, each costing around 35K. I’ll definitely be back if I find myself in Bali again!

So, I decided to try a few dishes: Mie Ayam Jakarta, Nasi Goreng Gila, and Mie Goreng Seafood. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! One reviewer mentioned that they asked for spicy but got the sambal on the side instead of mixed in, which made it less flavorful. But honestly, I thought the spiciness from the sambal just made everything taste even better! The portions are generous, and there’s plenty of filling in each dish.

However, I did hear some mixed reviews. One person said, “Amazing food!” while another complained about too much MSG in their fried bihun, saying it was the dominant taste and that they wouldn’t order it again. They found the soup bland and couldn’t understand why people were giving it 5 stars. But hey, taste is subjective, right? Another guest raved about the Mie Ayam Bakso and Kwetiau Goreng Ayam, calling it the best and saying they keep coming back for more.

As for me, I did have a little hiccup with the service. I ordered fried chicken, but it took a bit too long, and by the time it arrived, it wasn’t hot anymore. But overall, the experience was still pretty great!

With food prices ranging from Rp1-25,000 for lunch and Rp25,000-50,000 for dinner, it’s super affordable too. I’d definitely come back to Mie Ayam Jakarta if I find myself in Bali again. It’s a chill spot with tasty food and a great atmosphere!
