If you’re ever in Mataram, you gotta check out Marugame Udon at Lombok Epicentrum Mall! Seriously, this place is a gem. The vibe is super chill, and the atmosphere gets a solid 5.0/5.0 from me. It’s the kind of spot where you can just kick back and enjoy a good meal.

So, I ordered a few things: the Chicken Katsu Curry Udon, Kake Udon, and some Kakiage. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! The udon portions might be getting a bit smaller, but hey, it’s still tasty. I did have a little hiccup with my order though; I ordered the Chicken Katsu Curry Udon, but they brought me beef instead. No receipt to complain with, and the driver didn’t respond. But honestly, the food was so good that it didn’t ruin my experience too much.

Other diners seem to agree with me! One person mentioned, “Concepted exactly like the usual Marugame Udon chain, the place has that consistent taste as you would expect. Ate here multiple times, the fried add-ons are a little bit cold; it’s better to put them on a warmer after they are fried. The noodles taste great regardless of what you choose. Family-friendly.” Sounds about right!

Another review said, “One of our favorite restaurants in Epicentrum Mall! Always satisfied our craving for Udon, we love to order the spicy tori baitan udon and always get the milk pudding, so soft.” And I totally get that! The milk pudding is a must-try!
