The Beef Pizza (L) and both sizes of the Margarita pizza are crowd favorites. Hey foodies! If you find yourself in Bali, you might want to check out JWB Pizza Beach located at Jl. Bukit Permai No. 5A, Jimbaran. We decided to give it a shot during our trip, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience—though not exactly for the reasons we were hoping for!

Highlights (and Lowlights) of Our Meal:

• Extremely Crispy Thin Crust: The star of the show was definitely the pizza’s crust. It was unbelievably crispy—imagine the crunch of the crispiest cracker you’ve ever had, then multiply that by ten! Each bite felt like shattering a delicate piece of glass. Seriously, if crispiness were a sport, this pizza would win gold! It was the crispiness of dreams.
• Flavor Disappointment: Unfortunately, the rest of the pizza didn’t quite match up. The flavors were pretty lackluster, and the toppings left much to be desired. It felt like all the effort went into making the crust a marvel while the taste took a backseat.
• Excellent Service: On the bright side, the service was top-notch! The staff were super friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant dining experience.
• Stunning Views: The restaurant has beautiful views, making it a lovely spot to enjoy a meal. The scenic surroundings almost made up for the disappointing pizza. So, if you’re in it for the crunch and the scenery, this place is a thumbs up!

Overall, while the extreme crispiness was amusing and a unique experience, it didn’t quite make up for the overall lack of quality in the food. But hey, if you’re looking for a laugh and want to experience the ultimate in crispiness, JWB Pizza Beach is worth a visit. Just don’t expect an all-around great meal. The service and views, however, are definitely top-notch!

Also, if you’re looking for a cheap place with beach seating, this spot is known for its simple thin crust pizza that’s well made. It’s not the best pizza ever, but it’s not bad for the price. Perfect for casual happy hour and some people-watching!

And if you’re a sunset lover, this is a great place to catch the sunset on Jimbaran Beach. They have good Indonesian food at reasonable prices, and while I didn’t try the pizza, it looked pretty good! Just a heads up, the staff can be a bit slow, but the vibe is totally worth it.

So, grab your friends, enjoy some yummy thin crust pizza (my favorite is Hawaiian!), and don’t forget to sip on some beer during happy hour starting at 4 PM. The outdoor seating is also perfect for small occasions like birthday parties!
