If you’re ever in Canggu, Bali, you absolutely have to check out Ithaka Warung! This place is a total gem. The vibe is super chill, and the view from the spacious upper terrace is just stunning, especially at sunset when you can see the ocean. The staff? They’re the best—so friendly and the service is lightning fast!
I ordered a few dishes like the Dragon Bowl Small, Sate Ayam, and White Rice, and let me tell you, everything was delicious! The peanut sauce is a must-try; it’s seriously top-notch. I even heard someone say, “BEST, so tasty so carefully put together – thank you!” And I couldn’t agree more! The Red Thai curry is also a hit, packed full of veggies and super filling. Just a heads up, though, someone mentioned that the ribs were a bit of a letdown, so maybe skip those.
What I really loved was how accommodating the chef was with dietary restrictions. They removed onion and garlic from the Pad Thai for us, which was really nice. Plus, they have a great selection of vegetarian options and can easily make things vegan. I mean, who doesn’t love that?
Overall, Ithaka Warung has a lovely atmosphere with cute decor and even some calm dogs hanging around. The food is reasonably priced too, with meals averaging around Rp75,000-100,000 for dinner and Rp1-25,000 for lunch. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Bali!

So, let me take you on a little culinary adventure to Ithaka Warung, located on the oh-so-chill Jl. Pantai Batu Bolong in Canggu, Bali. Picture this: you walk in, and it’s like stepping into a tropical paradise where the air smells like a mix of spices and sunshine. Seriously, if heaven had a scent, it would be the aroma wafting from this place!
First off, the service? Oh boy, it’s like they’ve got a PhD in friendliness! I mean, I half expected them to offer me a foot massage while I was waiting for my food. One reviewer said, “Everything is perfect here! The service is excellent, superfriendly and their food really really good!” And I couldn’t agree more! They even threw in a free snack as an appetizer. I was like, “Is this a restaurant or a magic show?”
Now, let’s talk about the food. I decided to go for the Dragon Bowl Small, which sounds like something a superhero would eat, right? It was colorful, packed with flavors, and made me feel like I was doing something good for my body. I mean, if I’m going to indulge, I might as well pretend it’s healthy! And then there was the Sate Ayam. Oh, sweet baby Bali, it was grilled to perfection! I could hear the chicken singing as it was being cooked. And don’t even get me started on the White Rice – it was like the perfect sidekick to my main dish, just hanging out, soaking up all the deliciousness.
One of the best parts? The ambiance! It’s a lovely terrace space with a chill vibe, even though it’s right next to the main road. You can have a deep conversation about life or just stare at your food in blissful silence. One guest mentioned, “If you’re looking for a place to hold some conversations with a chill atmosphere and most importantly a windy location, this is where you need to be.” I mean, who doesn’t love a little breeze while you’re stuffing your face?
And let’s not forget the desserts! After my meal, I was treated to a homemade cookie that was so good, I almost proposed to it. I mean, who knew a cookie could make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside? One reviewer said, “The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.” I was like, “Yes, please! More of this magic!”
So, if you’re ever in Bali and looking for a place that serves up delicious food with a side of smiles, Ithaka Warung is your spot. Just remember to wear stretchy pants because you’re going to want to try everything on the menu. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!
