If you’re ever in Bali, you absolutely have to check out Island Wok Pererenan! Located at Jl. Munduk Tengah No. 11, Mengwi, this place is a hidden gem. Seriously, the food is a solid 5.0/5.0, and the service? Same deal! The atmosphere is just as great, making it the perfect spot for dinner or lunch.

I decided to try a few dishes during my visit, including the Chicken and Prawn Siu Mai, Cheesecake, and Chicken Cashew. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! I mean, the flavors were on point, and the portions were generous. I even heard someone say, “Amazing flavor and portions are generous. Thank you!!” But, just a heads up, I did notice that no cutlery came with my order, which was a bit disappointing. But hey, the food made up for it!

I’ve read some other reviews, and it seems like I’m not the only one who loved it here. One visitor mentioned, “I’ve been here 3 times now, and every time has been extremely good. So much flavor in the food and lots of different options.” Another said, “Wow! So flavorful. First time here and I will be back. I wanted everything on the menu!” And I totally get that feeling! The beef and broccoli? So good! I even took the beef combo because the waiter recommended it, and it was sooo good—healthy and tasty!

Sure, it’s a tiny place, so the atmosphere isn’t their strongest point, but it’s clean and pleasant. Plus, the food is spectacular and inexpensive. If you get the chance, definitely try the Kway teow (I added chicken), crab rangoon (awesome), and the pork dumplings—they’re great!

All in all, I can’t wait to go back to Island Wok Pererenan the next time I’m in Bali. It’s just that good!
