If you’re in Canggu and craving some sushi, you gotta check out IKA Sushi Bali! It’s a takeaway/delivery spot located at Jl. Raya Babakan Canggu No.31. I recently ordered a few rolls for dinner, and let me tell you, it was a tasty experience!

First off, the food gets a solid 4.5/5.0 from me. I tried the California Crab Sushi Roll (6 pcs), Philadelphia Sushi Roll (8 pcs), and California Salmon Sushi Roll (8 pcs). All of them were delicious! Seriously, I can’t get over how fresh everything tasted. One reviewer even said, “Thank you. Very very tasty!” and I totally agree. Another mentioned, “California is great as always!” which is spot on!

Now, the service was decent, rated at 4.2/5.0, but I did have to wait a bit longer than expected. I waited for about 90 minutes for my food to arrive. One customer pointed out that the long wait took off a star from their rating, and I can see why. They said, “Delicious food, long wait for delivery which takes off a star.” So, if you’re ordering, just be prepared for a bit of a wait.

On the bright side, the atmosphere gets a 4.0/5.0, which is pretty good for a takeaway place. The sushi is simply delightful! Fresh salmon, tasty rice, and perfect presentation. One happy customer said, “Very satisfied, will definitely order again. Highly recommend!”

However, not everything was perfect. I did come across a review where someone had a rough experience with the service. They mentioned waiting an hour and a half and having trouble communicating with the staff. They said, “They didn’t know how to speak English and they were speaking to me in a very bad tone.” That’s definitely something to keep in mind, but I hope it was just a one-off situation.

Overall, I really enjoyed my sushi from IKA Sushi Bali, and I can’t wait to order from them again when I’m back in Bali. If you’re in the area, give them a shot!

Yet, despite this hiccup, I couldn’t help but appreciate the authentic taste that IKA Sushi offers.
