Hey there! So, I recently checked out this cozy spot called Heroic Coffee & Grill located in Gg. BUNI, JL RAYA BERINGKIT MENGWITANI, KEEC. MENGWI, KAB. BADUNG, and I gotta say, it was a pretty chill experience!

First off, the vibe of the place is really nice. I’d give the atmosphere a solid 4.2/5.0. It’s a great spot to hang out or even get some work done since they have plenty of plugs and decent wifi. I ordered a few dishes like Nasi Goreng Ayam, Spicy Chicken Pop, and a Grilled Chicken Steak (200 grams of chicken breast with veggies), and let me tell you, everything was delicious! I mean, the fried rice was super tasty, and I can totally see why someone said, “nice food, I’m definitely gonna order again.” Another person mentioned, “the fried rice is so good,” and honestly, I couldn’t agree more!

Now, I did come across some mixed reviews from other visitors. One person said, “first time had a dinner here, the bowl that I ordered was good but a little bit salty? Atmosphere is great to work.” So, it seems like the food can be hit or miss sometimes. On the flip side, someone had a pretty rough experience with the coffee, saying, “terrible coffee. either they need to clean the coffee machine or it’s bad coffee, I don’t know why, but the coffee tastes terrible.” Yikes!

Another review caught my eye where someone was disappointed with their bolognaise, saying, “Cheap for a reason.. we ordered a bolognaise thinking it would be an actual bolognaise, like the picture they showed. Instead, it was spaghetti in sweet chili sauce with diced chicken?!? When we complained, they disagreed with us insisting it was a bolognaise even though they admitted the sauce was just sweet chili. Would definitely not return.” That’s a bummer!

But hey, not everything was bad! One person summed it up nicely with, “Best price, best food.” And honestly, for the price range of around Rp25,000-75,000 per person, I think it’s pretty decent!

All in all, I had a good time at Heroic Coffee & Grill, and I’d definitely swing by again if I find myself in Bali. If you’re looking for a laid-back place to grab a bite, this could be your spot!
