Hey there! So, I recently checked out this seafood spot called Gurih Gurih Seafood in Bali, and let me tell you, it was a pretty awesome experience! Located at Jl. Tukad Barito Timur No. 99 GG, Denpasar, this place has some seriously good vibes. The atmosphere gets a solid 5.0/5.0, and I totally get why!

Now, let’s talk food. They scored a 4.5/5.0, and I can see why. I ordered a bunch of stuff, including the Grilled Clams (10 pcs), a Special Budget Package, and some Tempe. Everything was delicious! Seriously, it was so good that I felt like it was “enakk banget, worth to buy with that price, bakal order lagi sih. rasa, porsidan harga sesuai” (so delicious, worth buying at that price, I’ll definitely order again. The taste, portion, and price are just right). And I can’t forget to mention their grilled prawns – our favorite place for UDANG BAKAR!

The service? Top-notch! They got a perfect 5.0/5.0 rating, and I felt that. The staff was super friendly, and I didn’t have to wait long for my food. Plus, the spicy sambal sauce? “Rules!” It really added that extra kick to the meal!

However, I did come across some mixed reviews. One person mentioned that they went in with high hopes but found the fish hard and rough, possibly overcooked or frozen. They also noted that the rice was a bit dry. Ouch! But then again, another reviewer raved about the top-quality seafood, saying it was cheaper than places in Legian and Seminyak, and totally worth the trip. They even mentioned that you can eat like a glutton for under Rp. 150,000 per person!

Another guest shared that they were drawn in by the smell of delicious grilled fish and were not disappointed. They loved the friendly service and the quieter atmosphere on the second floor, which is perfect for family meals. And yes, the fish served was fresh, but one person wasn’t a fan of the mussels, finding the meat tiny and not liking the sauce.

All in all, Gurih Gurih Seafood is definitely a place I’d hit up again if I find myself in Bali. If you’re a seafood lover, you should definitely give it a try!

People rave about how tasty the spices are, and even if some clams might have a bit of an earthy smell, the seasoning makes up for it. Seriously, you can’t leave Bali without trying their seafood!

And if you’re on a budget, the prices are pretty reasonable too! For lunch, you can expect to spend around IDR 125,000-150,000 per person, while dinner can be as low as IDR 75,000-100,000. Plus, the service is top-notch, scoring a perfect 5 out of 5. The staff might not be overly attentive, but they deliver your food quickly and efficiently, which is all you really need.

One customer mentioned, “I am not really a fan of seafood but I loved all the dishes here. The prawns were perfectly cooked. The spices were well balanced and the portions were big.” That says a lot, right? Even if seafood isn’t your thing, you might just find a new favorite here!

Another highlight is the CAH Kangkung (water spinach), which is garnished with peanuts, adding a nice crunch to your meal. Just a heads up, though, if you have dietary restrictions, the shellfish comes in a rich sauce that isn’t gluten-free, but the seafood itself is generally safe for those with coeliac disease.
