First up, I ordered the Ham and Cheese Baguette. Now, if you’ve ever had a baguette that made you question your life choices, this is it. It was like a warm hug from a French chef who just got back from a cheese convention. The ham was so good, I almost proposed to it. I mean, who knew cured meat could be so romantic?

Then came the Chorizo Iberico Baguette. Let me tell you, this thing was packed with flavor! It was like a fiesta in my mouth, and I was the piñata. I could hear the chorizo singing “La Bamba” as I took each bite. If you’re not careful, you might just start dancing in your seat. Just a heads up!

Now, let’s talk about the cheesecake. Oh boy, this cheesecake was so creamy it could probably win a beauty pageant. I took a bite, and it was like a cloud of happiness exploded in my mouth. The staff at El Merkat were as friendly as a golden retriever at a dog park. They were attentive and made sure we felt right at home. I even caught them entertaining a baby nephew at the next table. If they can handle a baby, they can handle anything!
