If you’re ever in Bali, you absolutely have to check out Warung Ramadhan on Jl. Raya Semat Gg. Jalak 22. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem! The food here is rated 4.7 out of 5, and I can totally see why. I went there for dinner and ordered a bunch of stuff: Fried Rice with Fried Chicken, Fried Rice with Chicken and Egg, and some plain rice. Everything was delicious!

One of the things that really stood out to me was the chicken. It was so tender and flavorful, just like one reviewer said, “The softness and taste of the chicken is beyond amazing! Loved every bite.” I even asked for my meal to be spicy, and wow, it did not disappoint! It was AMAZING. If you’re not a rice person, definitely give the bihun a try!

The atmosphere is chill, and the service is pretty good too, rated at 4.5 out of 5. Plus, the prices are super affordable—around Rp25,000-50,000 per person. You can’t beat that! One visitor mentioned, “The food is always freshly cooked and the chicken is melting in your mouth! And it’s so cheap, for 3 you get a big plate!”

Another review caught my eye: “Amazing local food and drinks at rock bottom prices.” My girlfriend and I had three dishes and four iced teas for just 75k! If you go, make sure to get the sambal with your meal to kick it up a notch.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed that this was the only authentic local food I tried in Bali, but it definitely tasted like Indo food. It’s a great spot for anyone looking to step out of their food comfort zone. If you’re tired of touristy restaurants, this is the place to be!

All in all, I had a fantastic experience at Warung Ramadhan, and I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Bali!
