Hey foodies! If you’re ever in Bali and looking for a chill spot to grab some delicious pizza, you HAVE to check out Warung Papa Pizza in Sanur. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem!

First off, the vibe here is just perfect. It’s tucked away down a little alley, and while we were a bit hesitant at first (I mean, who doesn’t get a little freaked out by dark alleys?), it was totally worth it! The owner has created a real Balinese atmosphere, and you can feel the love and care that goes into every detail. The gardens are beautiful, and it’s super relaxing to just hang out there.

Now let’s talk about the food! The Pineapple Pizza and Chicken Pizza (both large, 25 cm) are must-tries. I mean, who doesn’t love a good pizza? And if you’re feeling adventurous, the Mushroom Pizza is also a winner! One visitor raved about the best Nasi Goreng they’ve ever had here, so you might want to give that a shot too!

We also tried the carbonara bacon and the margarita pizza with extra tuna, and let me tell you, we were in food heaven! And don’t skip dessert – the Balinese pancakes are a sweet coconut dream!

The staff is super friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to have a chat while you enjoy your meal. Plus, the coffee is excellent! It’s a family-friendly spot with plenty of space for kids to explore the garden and watch the fish in the pond. No mosquitoes buzzing around either, which is a huge plus!

Hey there, fellow foodies! If you ever find yourself in Sanur, Bali, you absolutely have to check out Warung Papa Pizza. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem! The vibe is super chill, and the atmosphere is just perfect for a laid-back meal. I mean, they’ve got a solid 5.0/5.0 rating for food, service, and atmosphere, and I totally get why!

So, I decided to go all out and ordered a few pizzas: the Pineapple Pizza, Chicken Pizza, and Mushroom Pizza, all in the large 25 cm size. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! But I did notice some mixed reviews about the pizzas. One person mentioned that the pizza needs a different tomato sauce, saying, “The mushroom pizza had a brown sauce which was too sweet. The dough was good. If it wasn’t for the sauce, it would have been a good pizza.” And I can see where they’re coming from. Another review said the Chicken Pizza was a bit dry and lacked seasoning, which was a bummer for the price. But honestly, the crust was just the right thickness, and the flavors were pretty good overall!

What really stood out to me was the warm and special ambiance. The boss, Made, greeted us with a big smile and led us to a cozy corner table. The pizza was soooo good! We even took a selfie with him and his helper in the kitchen, which was buzzing with activity as the place got crowded after we arrived. If you’re in the Sanur area and craving some western food, this is a must-visit!

Warung Papa Pizza is tucked away in a quiet alley near the Night Market, so it might be a bit tricky to find, especially at night when the streets are dark. But trust me, it’s worth the search! The place has this lovely Balinese vibe with open sides and wooden ceilings, surrounded by trees and a cute carp pond. They’ve got a menu that includes not just pizzas but also Indonesian dishes, desserts, and breakfast specials. I even tried their banana-honey pancake and iced Americano, and they were both delightful!

Oh, and don’t skip the Balinese pancakes for dessert if you love coconut and sweet flavors. They’re a must-try! The couple running the place is super friendly, and they even shared their sauce recipe with us, which I can’t wait to try at home!

All in all, I had a fantastic experience at Warung Papa Pizza, and I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in Bali. If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to be!
