Kayu Aya No. 72 in Seminyak, Bali, I was immediately enveloped by an inviting atmosphere that perfectly blends modern elegance with traditional Balinese charm. The warm lighting and tasteful decor set the stage for what would become a culinary adventure I won’t soon forget.

My journey began with the Hand Cut French Fries, which were anything but ordinary. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were seasoned to perfection, making them a delightful start to the meal. Next up was the Chicken Nasi Goreng, a dish that truly encapsulates the essence of Indonesian cuisine. The chicken was succulent, and the spices danced on my palate, transporting me straight to the heart of Bali’s culinary culture.

One of the highlights of my visit was the Smoky Steamed Edamame, which had a unique flavor profile that I had never experienced before. It was a refreshing twist on a classic dish, showcasing the chef’s creativity and skill. As I savored each bite, I couldn’t help but think of a fellow diner who remarked, “We had an incredible meal here. One of the best I have ever had.” I couldn’t agree more; this was indeed a culinary highlight of my holiday.

If you’re ever in Seminyak, Bali, you absolutely have to check out Chandi! Seriously, this place is a gem. The vibe is just perfect, and the food? Oh man, it’s a solid 5.0/5.0 across the board! I mean, who doesn’t love a place where the service, atmosphere, and food are all top-notch?

So, I decided to treat myself to dinner there and ordered a few things: Hand Cut French Fries, Chicken Nasi Goreng, and Smoky Steamed Edamame. Let me tell you, everything was super delicious!!! YUM! The Chicken Nasi Goreng was AMAZING!!! I ordered the garlic chicken, and finally, it wasn’t breaded chicken! Big chicken thighs, I couldn’t finish it! Definitely going to order that again!

Now, I did hear some feedback about the fish being a bit cold because of the 20-minute transport time, but honestly, it was still a lovely meal. Just a tad pricey if you think about dining in, but totally worth it for the experience.

Other diners have raved about the food and service too. One person said, “Absolutely sensational food and service! An absolute must on your list to do in Bali. The butter fish, the beef short rib, and the lava cake were standout dishes from the chef’s selection. The frozen fruit martinis are next level! Will be back many times in the future.”

Honestly, my partner and I had dinner here and absolutely loved it. We started with cocktails and dim sum for an entree, and the variety of dim sum was delicious. For mains, I had crispy duck, and he had honey chicken, paired with two glasses of rosé. The atmosphere was tranquil, and the service was fast and polite.

All in all, if I find myself back in Bali, Chandi will definitely be on my list again. Can’t wait to go back!
