If you’re in Uluwatu, Bali, and you haven’t checked out Bread Basket Bakery yet, what are you even doing with your life? Seriously, this place is a hidden gem that you absolutely need to add to your foodie itinerary!
First off, let’s talk about the vibe. The atmosphere is super chill, perfect for a laid-back breakfast or a coffee break. The staff? They’re lovely and super quick with service, which is always a plus when you’re trying to enjoy your meal without waiting forever.
Now, onto the food! I’ve been here multiple times, and I can confidently say that their White Sourdough and Baguette Large are to die for. I mean, who knew bread could taste this good? Even as a local who usually struggles with breakfast options, I found myself falling head over heels for their bread. It’s fresh, tasty, and just hits the spot!
And let’s not forget about the coffee! One visitor raved, “Best coffee we have had our whole trip to Bali.” That’s a bold statement, but honestly, I can see why. Pair it with their Bagel Cream Cheese, and you’ve got yourself a breakfast that’s hard to beat.
Oh, and if you’re feeling adventurous, try their pies! They’re described as “more-ish,” which is totally accurate. You’ll want to keep going back for more, trust me!
Prices are pretty reasonable too, with meals ranging from Rp100,000-125,000 per person. For the quality you get, it’s totally worth it!
So, if you’re in the area, make sure to swing by Bread Basket Bakery. You won’t regret it, and I guarantee you’ll be planning your next visit before you even leave!

If you’re ever in Uluwatu, Bali, you absolutely have to check out Bread Basket Bakery. Seriously, this place is a gem! With a perfect score of 5.0 for both food and service, you know you’re in for a treat. The atmosphere is cozy too, sitting at a solid 4.7. It’s the kind of spot that makes you feel right at home while you enjoy your breakfast.
I decided to try a few things on the menu, including their White Sourdough, Large Baguette, and a Bagel with Cream Cheese. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! I even heard someone say that the food here has a “consistent taste across all their branches,” and I couldn’t agree more. Their toasted cream cheese bagel with smoked salmon? Hands down the best bagels in Bali! And don’t even get me started on the steak pie – it was the best pie I’ve ever had. Thank you, Bread Basket Bakery!
The staff here are amazing and super friendly. One reviewer mentioned the “delicious Turkish eggs and coffee,” and I can totally see why! They have a big variety of breads, including whole grain and rye, plus a ton of pastries. They even offer decaf and plant-based milk options like soy and almond. Just a heads up, though – while the service is cute, it can be a bit chaotic at times. They might not know where to take your coffee, but hey, it adds to the charm!
Another guest raved about their breakfast, saying it was “absolutely delicious” and that the cafe was flexible with adding items to their order. They claimed it was the best coffee they had during their whole trip to Bali, which is a big deal! The place is pretty comfortable too, with a two-story setup that has plenty of tables upstairs. You can mix your own burger or sandwich, and while they have a lot of vegan options, I found their chicken wrap to be high quality and super tasty.
All in all, Bread Basket Bakery is perfect for a morning snack or a hearty breakfast. I definitely plan on coming back the next time I’m in Bali. Don’t miss out on this spot!
