Bakso Super Blitar, Merpati
Nanda
So, let me take you on a little culinary adventure to Bakso Super Blitar, located at Jl. Merpati No. 16 in the sunny paradise of Denpasar, Bali. Now, if you’re wondering what Bakso is, it’s basically Indonesia’s answer to meatballs, but like, on steroids. Seriously, these meatballs are so good they might just make you forget about your ex. (Okay, maybe not, but you get the point!)
As I strolled into the restaurant, I was greeted by a vibe that screamed, “Welcome to meatball heaven!” The place was big enough for a couple of motorcycles to park, which is great because who doesn’t want to roll up to a meatball joint on a bike? Just be careful not to park too close to the tables; I hear they don’t take kindly to motorcycle collisions with diners!
Now, let’s talk about the menu. I decided to go all out and try the Bakso Urat Campur, Mie Ayam Pangsit, and some Tahu (tofu, for those who might not be fluent in Indonesian). The Bakso Urat Campur was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. It was warm, spicy, and just downright delicious. I mean, if I could marry a meatball, this would be the one. Sorry, future spouse!
As I was slurping up my Mie Ayam Pangsit, I couldn’t help but think that this dish was like a warm hug on a cold day. It was comforting, and the chicken was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. I felt like I was being cradled by a giant chicken. And let’s not forget the Tahu! It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, like a tofu version of a surprise party. You think it’s going to be boring, but then BAM! It’s delicious!
Now, I did notice a little dust on the table, which made me feel like I was dining in a rustic farmhouse. But hey, who needs a clean table when you have meatballs that could make a grown man cry? Just bring on the wipes, and I’ll be fine!
Overall, Bakso Super Blitar is a nice place to relax and enjoy some seriously yummy food. Just drop in, take a look at the menu, and prepare to have your taste buds do a happy dance. Trust me, your stomach will thank you later!
So, if you’re ever in Denpasar and craving some Indonesian meatballs, you know where to go. Just remember to leave your motorcycle outside and your worries at the door. Happy eating!

If you’re ever in Bali and craving some delicious meatballs, you absolutely have to check out Bakso Super Blitar on Jl. Merpati No. 16 in Denpasar. I recently dropped by and ordered a few dishes: the Bakso Urat Campur, Mie Ayam Pangsit, and some Tahu. Let me tell you, everything was super tasty!
One of the reviews I came across mentioned, “If possible, please provide a version that comes in a cup or a container.” They also said, “It’s so good, I’ve bought it often,” and suggested they should create new menu items, like “super meatballs.” However, there was a note about finding hair in the chicken noodle soup, and that the flavors leaned a bit too salty for both the meatballs and the broth.
But honestly, the vibe of the place is really nice. I saw other reviews saying things like “Ok,” “Nice,” and “Good place.” One visitor even mentioned, “Nice place to relax and rest, beside the warm, spicy, and yummy bakso or meatball just awaiting your visiting. Just take a look, drop and enjoy.”
Overall, I had a great experience at Bakso Super Blitar. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was chill. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Bali!
