If you’re ever in Mataram, you gotta check out KOPTE TARIK CAKRA on Jl. A A Gede Ngurah No. 10A. It’s a chill coffee shop that’s perfect for hanging out or grabbing a quick bite. I recently swung by and tried a few things on the menu, and let me tell you, everything was delicious! I ordered the Kombo Toast, Cincau Doger, and Teh Tarik Kopte, and they were all on point. Seriously, the flavors were spot on, and I can totally see why someone said, “I keep ordering it over and over, the taste is still good and unchanged… the measurements are always just right.” It’s like eating grapes by the beach… so good!

Now, the vibe of the place? Well, it’s got its ups and downs. The food gets a solid 4.0/5.0, but the service is a bit more average at 3.7/5.0, and the atmosphere is around 3.3/5.0. Some folks have mentioned that it’s a good spot for drinks and the air conditioning is nice, but they weren’t thrilled about everything being served in plastic, which is why they rated it lower. One reviewer said, “This was my 2nd visit. All I can say is, it’s mid. Food, service, atmosphere are mid. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad as well.” So, if you’re looking for a place to just chill and chat with friends, it’s decent, but don’t expect to get much work done here since it can get pretty noisy with all the high school students hanging out.

On the bright side, I did notice that the barista was having a good time, singing and hitting the table, which added a fun vibe to the place! And if you’re looking for a comfy spot to work, some people found it nice because it wasn’t too loud. Plus, the service was really good, and I’d definitely recommend trying the iced Teh Tarik Cincau and the kaya butter toast – they were super tasty! Oh, and I even got a coupon!

All in all, I’d say KOPTE TARIK CAKRA is worth a visit if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Mataram!

Although it was a bit sweet, it was still enjoyable. Additionally, the kaya butter toast was incredibly tasty, with a strong flavor of kaya and butter! The toast had a crunchy texture on the outside, making it a perfect companion for coffee or tea.”

For coffee lovers, one reviewer noted, “I haven’t tried the food yet, but I recently had the tarik coffee and Malaka coffee, and they were surprisingly good. I recommend trying the coffee!”
