It’s a place where the hustle and bustle of Denpasar fades away, allowing you to savor each moment in a calm and serene environment.

One of the highlights of my visits has been the authentic flavors of their traditional Balinese dishes. I’ve been eagerly waiting for the Rujak Jeruk Bali, but alas, it has been sold out every time I’ve come—three times to be exact! It’s a seasonal delight that I can’t seem to get my hands on, but that doesn’t deter me. The other traditional foods are equally delicious, and the various types of Rojak they offer are a treat for the taste buds. I can’t help but laugh at my persistence; I will keep coming back for more!

The seating arrangement, especially the “bale,” adds to the experience, making it a perfect spot for groups and families. The prices are incredibly affordable, making it accessible for everyone. While the limited parking space can be a bit of a hassle, I find it worth the effort for the delightful meals that await. Just a heads up, it can get quite warm during lunch hours since there’s no air conditioning, but the flavors of the food make it all worthwhile.

Some reviews mention that the Rujak could use a bit more seasoning, and I agree that there’s always room for improvement. I remember a time when I ordered the Tipat Kuah, and the broth was disappointingly scant. However, when I requested extra broth, they were accommodating, charging a small fee for the additional serving. It’s these little interactions that make the experience feel personal and heartfelt.
