A Culinary Journey at Joon Canggu: A Review of Food, Service, and Atmosphere

Hey there! So, I recently checked out this spot called Joon Canggu, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! Located at Jl Raya Babakan Canggu No 4, Kuta Utara, Badung, this place has some seriously good vibes. The food? A solid 5.0/5.0! The service was pretty good too, sitting at 4.7/5.0, and the atmosphere? Absolutely perfect at 5.0/5.0. You can dine in, and I went there for lunch.

Now, let’s talk about the prices. You’re looking at around Rp75,000-100,000 per person for lunch, and if you’re in the mood for breakfast, it’s about Rp150,000-175,000. I highly recommend trying their Pancake Breakfast and Eggs Benedict – both are delicious!

I ordered a few dishes like the Mushroom and Arugula, Nasi Goreng Seafood, and Nasi Goreng Breakfast. Honestly, everything was tasty! But I did hear someone mention that they should keep the portion sizes consistent. Oh, and the Nasi Goreng Breakfast could use a bit more on the plate, hehehe. Just a heads up, it’s a little on the pricey side, and I did have a friend who said their pizza was stone cold and took an hour to arrive.

But don’t just take my word for it! Other visitors had some cool things to say too. One person said, “Everything was good. The pizza was really great. We loved the smoothies too; they’re thick and just the right sweetness. But, I hope you guys can fix the playground issue; the slide angle is too narrow, and it still has a big height space for landing. My bum hurt from using it once with my son. Just my two cents. Overall, all great, even big parking space too.”

Another guest mentioned, “Best place and favorite place since they opened in this area. The price is reasonable, the service is good, and the food is amazing. When you need to do online work here in the morning, it’s really nice. In the evening, there are more kids here, but overall, I love the atmosphere and the open-air concept.”

And someone else said, “Such a wonderful place to have breakfast. The promo is so worth it!! 75K for main breakfast, coffee, and juice. And it is tasty too!! Don’t miss the promo. The atmosphere is so relaxing with the soothing piped-in music.”

However, not everyone was a fan. One review said, “The food is really not that great. The ingredients seem a bit old and not of high quality. It has an Asian taste, even though they’re trying for a European style, like croissants. Personally, I don’t enjoy the food there. The only reason I go is for the kids. However, the parties are absolutely amazing! Thanks.”

All in all, I had a great time at Joon Canggu, and I’d definitely go back if I find myself in Bali again!
