If you’re ever in Bali, you gotta check out ASIAN SPOON ULUWATU! This place is located on Jl. Tanjung Simah in Labuan Sait, Pecatu, and it’s definitely worth a visit. The vibe is super chill, and the atmosphere gets a solid 4.7/5.0. I mean, who doesn’t love a cozy spot to enjoy some good food?

So, I decided to try a few dishes like the Korean Chicken Bao, Pork Belly Dumpling, and Vietnamese Spring Rolls. Let me tell you, everything was delicious! The Korean Chicken Bao was a total bomb, and the flavors in the Pork Belly Dumplings were on point, even if they weren’t as crispy as I expected. But hey, good flavor makes up for it, right? I did hear someone mention that they took an eternity to prepare a simple Nasi Goreng, which was a bit of a bummer. And oh man, the mango sticky rice was the tiniest portion I’ve ever seen, and it was a bit al dente too. But my friend swears by the salmon here, so I guess I’ll stick to that next time!

Other visitors have raved about the place too! One person said, “I’ve been here twice already this week and will certainly come again. Food is delicious and the service very friendly. You have the choice of sitting on the veranda or in an air-conditioned room. Really cool design. A nice place that’s off the main road to watch the world go by (scooters on their way to Bingin!) If you’re lucky, the adorable pug will come and fall asleep on your feet. She doesn’t hassle you at all for food.” How cute is that?

Another guest mentioned, “Good food, and they have an indoor seating area with AC. I tried the ramen and the banana fritters. Both were good, although the fritters could definitely use more ice cream. I also had a bite of the salmon which was good. The portions could be bigger though.”

And let’s not forget about the lovely dinner experience someone had: “It was very quiet, but we were also very late. Staff was extremely friendly, and the food was of high quality and beautifully served. I can recommend the salmon poke bowl, specifically!”

However, not everyone had a perfect experience. One review said, “We only went to this place because I saw they had mango sticky rice. Unfortunately, it was more like a mushy rice pudding than sticky rice! The staff were nice but not very helpful. Didn’t tell us half of the menu was sold out until we started to order.” Ouch! But hey, every place has its off days.

Overall, I had a great time at ASIAN SPOON ULUWATU, and I’d definitely come back if I find myself in Bali again. So, if you’re in the area, don’t miss out on this gem!

If you’re in Uluwatu and looking for a spot that serves up some seriously delicious food, you gotta check out Asian Spoon Uluwatu. Located on Jl. Tanjung Simah in Pecatu, this place has quickly become one of my favorite dining spots!

First off, let’s talk about the vibe. The restaurant has a super cool design, and you can choose to chill on the veranda or in the air-conditioned indoor area. It’s a nice little escape from the hustle and bustle of the main road, perfect for people-watching as scooters zip by on their way to Bingin. And if you’re lucky, you might even get a visit from the adorable pug who loves to nap at your feet without begging for food. How cute is that?

Now, onto the food! I’ve been here twice this week, and I can’t get enough. The Korean Chicken Bao is a must-try—so fluffy and packed with flavor! The Pork Belly Dumpling is another winner; it’s super delicious and definitely worth ordering. I also tried the Vietnamese Springroll, which was fresh and tasty. Seriously, everything I’ve had here has been on point!

One of the reviews I read said, “We went to Asian Spoon last night for dinner and our experience was a 10/10! It is a cute little restaurant, with fabulous food and the most lovely staff. A must go when in Uluwatu.” I couldn’t agree more! The staff here are super friendly and make you feel right at home.

Now, I did try the ramen and banana fritters during one of my visits. Both were good, but I felt like the fritters could use a bit more ice cream to balance out the flavors. And while the tropical juice was refreshing, it was a bit too papaya-heavy for my taste. But hey, that’s just me!

Overall, Asian Spoon Uluwatu is a lovely spot to grab a bite. The food is delicious, the service is top-notch (4.7/5), and the atmosphere is just right for a chill meal. Prices are pretty reasonable too, with lunch costing around Rp25,000-50,000 and dinner starting at Rp250,000+. So, if you’re in the area, make sure to swing by and indulge in those bao buns—you won’t regret it!
